Early Life and Education

Adam Beer was born in Liptovsky Mikulas, Czechoslovakia on February 25, 1922 to a businessman father who provided support to their family during Adam’s youth.

As a child, Adams attended local schools and enjoyed listening to talk radio. Later he earned a degree in marketing from University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Adam then entered hotel management. Currently he serves as Director of Operations at W Hollywood in Los Angeles.

Adam enjoys writing and illustrating children’s books in his spare time, having been shortlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize 2022 and working with author Anna Kemp on their second collaboration book. Art and design are his passion, always having his sketchbook at hand.

Adam beer’s professional career has taken an unconventional route from traditional business to one more focused on innovation and creativity. Working as product engineering leader has allowed him to undertake projects which help free and open source communities thrive.

He currently serves as Director of Software Engineering in Red Hat’s Developer Tools organization, where his focus lies in leading teams and creating innovative products for customers.

He is the creator of an educational blog focused on alcohol education and knowledge transfer, his articles being featured in Malt Advocate and Spirits Business publications.

He has gained experience brewing at several breweries such as Mac & Jack’s, American Brewing Company, and Belltown Brewing. Recently he received a scholarship to attend the 22-week Intensive Brewing Science & Engineering course of American Brewers Guild.

Adam Beer was passionate about all aspects of brewing. As head brewer at StillFire Brewing in Suwanee, Georgia and an expert brewer himself, Adam produced numerous award-winning beers under his own label. Additionally, Beer Advocate named Adam one of their Top 40 Under 40 Craft Brewers as well as many other industry accolades and awards. Additionally, Adam was an active part of his community through volunteering his services, membership in non-profit organizations, and championing causes close to his heart.

Adam has successfully balanced work-life responsibilities while managing to achieve a healthy work-life balance over the years. Not only has he found time for StillFire but has also taken up running, which he found quite enjoyable as a competitive hobby with which he managed to set a 5k personal best time!

Personal Life

Adam Beer has always had an intense passion for acting, movie making, writing and music. Born and raised in Belleville Illinois before moving to Tampa Florida later on in life. Close relationships with family and friends inspired his decision to pursue film and music as a profession.

He met Jackie while filming Big Daddy and they have two daughters together; while trying to balance his career and family responsibilities.
