Swick’s mother Barbara Kohls of Fort Jennings, Ohio was a homemaker who retired from Kohls Dairy King after 21 years until 1967. Additionally she volunteered at St Rita’s Hospital as well as playing competitive bridge and tennis – as a member of Catholic Daughters of America as well as Lima American Legion Auxiliary – and one great-grandson, Silas Schmiedebusch; but was predeceased by both parents and four sisters: Helen Kohls, Virginia Kohls Edna Moenter, Irene Swick.
Professional Career
Adam Swick has an abundance of experience in bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation matters, representing clients such as Chapter 15 trustees/liquidators/class action plaintiffs as well as local business owners in cases. Furthermore, Adam has handled both domestic and international insolvency proceedings.
He received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and his Bachelors of Finance from Penn’s Wharton School, while founding Swick Capital, a crypto asset hedge fund.
As an amateur traveler and gourmet food lover, he loves exploring new restaurants. Based out of Seattle where he works as a chiropractor, he utilizes active release techniques, chiropractic adjustments, nutritional advice, and therapeutic exercises in treating his patients.
Personal Life
Adam enjoys spending his free time with Tiffani and their two daughters, weight training, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.
He has been involved with various successful business endeavors and currently serves as the director of strategic finance at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange. Prior to Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, he held roles at Pritzker Group Venture Capital in Chicago where he evaluated early stage investment opportunities and Boston Consulting Group where he advised Fortune 500 clients in industries including healthcare, consumer goods and IT.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Swick, as well as an extended network of family and friends. He will be greatly missed; donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society in lieu of sending flowers.
