If you’ve ever been in the hairstyling business, you know how important it is to get the best products for your clients. There’s nothing worse than a crappy product or a shoddy application. Thankfully, Adir Abergel is an expert at both, and he shows off his work on Instagram regularly.

The virtual entertainment powerhouse is known for his wacky style and high-profile clients, including Kristen Stewart and Sandra Bullock. His work also includes primed-for-the-screen tresses of Sienna Miller, Emmy Rossum and Margaret Qualley.

In 2015, Adir was the celebrity hairstylist who made Amber Heard’s hair look smoldering at the premiere of The Danish Girl in Los Angeles. He sent over a photo of his work with the actress and she was so impressed, she went on to share it on her Instagram page.

She was wearing a Julien Macdonald green knit gown with liquid panels. She topped it off with a pair of Christian Louboutin metallic bronze leather Pigalle Folliespointed toe heels and a set of Ana Khouri and Jacquie Aicher earrings.

Her makeup looked flawless and was applied by make-up artist Melanie Inglessis. She wore an emerald red lip to complement her dress and shoes.

The star was wearing her hair up, and the stylist did a snazzy, modern twist on a classic French style. He started by blow-drying Heard’s strands, then curling them into barrel curls using a 1 1/4 inch curling iron. He then brushed them out to create a sleek, smooth, modern updo.

Adir teamed up with L’Anza hair spray for this impressive, shiny look. The product, which is the latest launch from Bumble and bumble, adds extra shine without weighing down the hair.

It’s a good thing Adir is so great at his job, as he’s been called to testify on Amber Heard’s behalf. Hopefully, his testimony will help her fight back against Johnny Depp and prove the allegations of domestic abuse she claims to have suffered.
