America’s Got Talent – Best of Auditions
America’s Got Talent’s sixth season premiered on May 31 and ran until September 14. The auditions were held in Los Angeles, New York and Houston from January to April. The series also featured online auditions on YouTube. Season six featured Landau Eugene Murphy winning the competition, followed closely by the Silhouettes, and Team iLuminate.
The sixteenth season of the show premiered on June 1, 2021. Audition season sixteen featured a new host, Simon Cowell, and several judges. The competition was open to participants from around the country and the world, with acts ranging from singing to dancing to magic and stunts. Participants must impress a panel (currently Simon Cowell and Howie Madden) and win the public vote to be crowned the winner.
The competition is divided into three stages. The Producers’ Auditions is the first stage. The public is invited to perform before a panel of judges during these auditions. The judges are also allowed to choose a Wildcard act. These acts perform in audition rounds for the judges, but they do not compete in main competition.
America’s Got Talent’s final episode will feature 11 acts. The show’s judges include Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara. Throughout season 17, Simon Cowell and his judges will decide on the winner of the headlining show in Las Vegas.
After the auditions, judges hold a special session to determine who will advance to live rounds. This session has varied throughout the history of the program and has undergone many format changes. In its original version, this stage was called the Las Vegas Callbacks and was based on a boot camp style, where the participants were given time to improve their act. The judges selected the finalists from each of the remaining acts.
