The mixed martial artist was born Folsom, California and grew up in Folsom with five siblings. Her older brother, Alexander, is a mixed martial artist. She’s the oldest, and has a younger brother who is also in the sport. Her parents are unknown. Aspen Ladd’s training for mixed martial arts began when she was seventeen years old. After graduating high school, she began training for the sport. By her age of 18, she had an amateur record of 8-1.
Ladd, along with her mother, had a number of MMA fights as a youngster, starting with amateur competition. She’d won two fights at West Coast FC, one by unanimous decision and one by technical submission. In late 2014, she signed a contract with Invicta FC and competed against Amanda Cooper, who she won via armbar in the second round. And in December of 2014, she beat Jessica Hoy and Kelly McGill in a mixed martial arts fight.
Aspen Ladd is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She is currently ranked #4 in the bantamweight division and #10 in the women’s pound-for-pound rankings. She began training in combat sports at age 14 and won her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera. She went on to win her next three fights in Ultimate Reno Combat and earned a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She also beat Leslie Rodriguez at WCFC.
Ladd’s mother has been a star for many years. Her mother has a great influence on the fighter’s career, and she’s the mom of two UFC fighters.
