He’s running to unseat Republican Ann Wagner, who narrowly won her 2020 seat. However, he faces an uphill challenge in an area which leans more Republican due to Franklin and Warren counties; neither the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee or national GOP are providing significant backing in his race; instead local liberal groups could provide him with support as well as help from state progressive caucus members.
Personal Life
Sharp and Gunby would often leave school together in Gunby’s car to smoke marijuana and have sexual encounters, including in the months preceding her death, when Sharp had an encounter with Adriano; Gunby became jealous and started calling Sharp out as being “whoreish and promiscuous”, according to her testimony.
He then opened Jaynes’ purse, found her identification card, and stroked it while warning her not to mention anything about this incident to anyone else.
