Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue Needs More Volunteers

If you love animals, but are not sure how to adopt one, Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue may be the answer. The organization is seeking additional volunteers for their adoption events and foster homes. Their office typically houses around 300 dogs at any given time. To volunteer, you can visit the organization’s website and sign up to volunteer. You can also visit their Facebook Page to learn more about their work and how you can get involved.

To help them in their efforts, the organization decided to move to a larger office space. Four months ago, Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue relocated to a new location in Somerset, New Jersey. Molly Larson, an event coordinator, stated that their new office is larger than the one they had previously. Since Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue works primarily with foster dogs, they host adoption events and other fundraisers to raise money for the animals.

The event is a chip-timed event, and is family-friendly. To raise funds for the organization, you can register online or at the event. The nonprofit’s website has links to training plans for runners and foster dog owners. You can also register your dog for the event. After you complete registration, the rescue will provide you with a bib and timing chip, as well as training materials and a scavenger hunt. Water is provided to both humans and dogs.
