Cristian Castro Spouse: Carol Victoria Urban

Before he ruled Cuba, Cristian Castro was married to Valeria Liberman. He and the lawyer had two children together. They divorced in 2009. Their minor children stayed with Castro’s mother. Castro married Carol Victoria Urban after a year and half of separation. The marriage lasted just 28 days. In the meantime, Castro has been promoting his new book, “A Communist’s Dream.”

Valeria Liberman, a law student from Argentina, and Cristian Castro met in December 2002, when they were attending her graduation ceremony in Argentina. Within days, she proposed to him. They later spent days together in Punta del Este, Uruguay, where they bought groceries. They remained close friends after their split. Although Valeria reportedly denied cheating, their marriage was canceled. Their relationship was a disaster for public relations.

As a single man, Castro has had a very busy schedule due to his demanding career. This has allowed Castro to find love and develop relationships.
