Daniel Avon has an incredible passion for real estate. Raised by parents with strong backgrounds in this field, he uses this expertise to excel in his chosen profession. Based locally he knows his field inside and out!

As someone who has undergone dental treatment himself, he understands the profound effect that dentistry can have on an individual’s life – thus his decision to make dentistry his career path.

Early Life and Education

Dan was raised in Avon by the sea and knows this area intimately. With an infectious enthusiasm for life and real estate services, he delights in assisting those seeking assistance with their real estate needs.

He studied his undergraduate degree at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA while simultaneously working as both teacher and coach. It was during this time that he truly fell in love with independent school education as it allowed him to make real change happen in children’s lives.

He currently resides in Avon with his wife and three children. An avid sports fan who also loves traveling, he’s actively involved with drum corps having served as Visual/Program Coordinator and Color Guard Director at Avon High School; winning three Bands of America Grand National Championships before finishing as WGI Scholastic World Top Five Finalist in 2008.

Professional Career

Dan is a laboratory organic research chemist and has contributed to six patents, fifteen publications in academic journals, and presented his work at multiple conferences. Furthermore, he is active in several professional and service organizations.

David advises both domestic and global corporate and private equity clients on an array of public and private transactions. He has particular expertise advising consumer products companies such as Clarivate Analytics and Ocado as they acquire businesses or combine with existing ones.

Dan, an Avon CSD graduate and coach since 1998, currently heads the Avon varsity swimming and diving team, amassing an outstanding record of 105-15-2 over 15 years as head coach. Additionally, he coaches Avon High School’s award-winning Drum Corps and World Guard ensembles which have both won multiple Section V championships as well as Bands of America championship titles under his direction.

Achievement and Honors

Dan was a man with many talents. He enjoyed traveling the world, singing in barbershop quartets, being actively involved with his church and community and was very generous with his time and resources. Dan leaves behind his wife, children and grandchildren; donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Middle Bass Island Volunteer Fire Department or National Kidney Foundation in lieu of sending flowers.

The award was presented to schools that excel in music education as recommended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Dan was very honored by this recognition and delighted for his students; he anticipated an exciting future ahead. Dan will be greatly missed by all who knew him; he always had a positive outlook and always made everyone around him smile.

Personal Life

Dan was always willing to volunteer his time to others in need, never missing one of his children’s baseball or dance recitals or events on his boat with friends who became family. A hard worker with great pride in his work, Dan took great pleasure in giving back to his community through hard work. An avid New York Giants fan who also enjoyed boating trips, Dan never missed an event that marked one of their children’s baseball or dance recitals either!

He was a member of both the National Funeral Directors Association and Connecticut Funeral Directors Association, as well as Valley Community Baptist Church in Avon and Prince Thomas Savoy Italian Society’s scholarship committee in Avon.

His widow, Lynn, and three children Anthony (A.J), Angela, and Christopher remain behind as does an extended family as well as many close friends that acted like family to him.

An English actor, Daniel first began performing theatre productions on London’s West End and Broadway before going on to star as young Merlin in the 1998 mini-series Merlin and appearing in Down to Earth, Born and Bred Casualty and Emmerdale television shows.

He has also enjoyed a successful professional boxing career. He holds several WBA middleweight championship titles as well as several knockout victories to his credit.

14 years ago, Dana started her AVON business out of desperation; living pay check to pay check was getting her down and she sought financial security through network marketing. Quickly taking on leadership responsibilities, she quickly expanded her team.
