Hawaii police are on a search for 27-year-old Daniel Josiah Peaster, missing since mid-November 2022. Based on information received, they believe he could possibly be camping/living in Pololu Valley on North Kohala district of Hawaii Island or traveling to nearby valleys for supplies. Public records reveal he is both an author and journalist.
Early Life and Education
Daniel Peaster was born and raised in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents who valued hard work. As an adult he held several different occupations such as farming, lumberjacking, heavy equipment operator and blasting expert; later teaching at the University of Arizona.
He enjoys playing basketball as well as reading. In 2008, he led his high school team to victory at a state tournament under his leadership as starting point guard. Furthermore, he is an avid reader and has written many academic papers in this area.
