Achievement and Honors

From his debut exhibition to present day, Sawaya has produced and displayed over one hundred large-scale sculptures that have been seen by audiences on every continent except Antarctica. His tours have broken attendance records wherever they’ve taken place and his works have received critical acclaim from art critics, celebrities and sports figures alike.

Sawaya’s most iconic pieces include a life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex and 6-foot (1.8 meters) Han Solo frozen in carbonite, both featured in two full-time art studios in Manhattan and Los Angeles. He has also worked with DC Comics to develop superhero displays made entirely out of Lego bricks featuring Batman, Catwoman and Superman – featuring both characters at once!
