Tanaka made his MLB debut and allowed a home run to former Yankee Melky Cabrera on his very first pitch he faced – though still earned the win as the Yankees defeated the Blue Jays 7-3.

Tanaka currently resides at 2010 Algaroba Street Unit 301 in Honolulu County, Hawaii for nearly 13 years; since March 2010. His zodiac sign on the western zodiac calendar is Capricorn.

Professional Career

Tanaka employs a three-quarter arm slot and drop-and-drive delivery with his right arm, employing two fastballs ranging from low to mid 90s fastball speeds and an 84-88 mph slider – occasionally even throwing curveballs – as weapons in his arsenal.
