Fulbright-Nehru Fellow: Rohan Dharan

Professional Career

Rohan Dharan (BA ’13) is currently serving as a Fulbright-Nehru English Teaching Assistant in New Delhi, India. Working at a government-aided school he instructs approximately 500 students.

Trubman was quoted in a More Than the Curve article regarding his advocacy for transit systems; specifically questioning SEPTA’s assumptions that people on Interstate 76 will leave their cars, park in Conshohocken and use Regional Rail instead of taking cars into Philadelphia. He co-founded Gowland LLC which provides workplace negotiation coaching to women.

Trubman lives without a car in Philadelphia and relies solely on SEPTA for transportation within both city limits and its region. Additionally, he sits on the board of 5th Square Community Inc. which works to support local businesses while improving retail districts within cities like Philadelphia.
