Daniela has earned praise as having an engaging musical personality and has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and South America. She has won first prizes at many international piano competitions – such as 2017 Piano Texas Concerto Competition in Dallas and 2012 Russian International Piano Festival in California – winning multiple first prizes each time she took to the stage.

She serves on the college and precollege piano faculties of Manhattan School of Music, Third Street Music School Settlement and Pinault School of Piano.

Early Life and Education

Daniela received a plastic piano toy as a child for Christmas. She fell in love with music and dreamed of becoming a professional pianist; competing at local and state levels in piano, violin, and conducting.

She is an international Yamaha artist and has performed with over 25 orchestras worldwide – most recently including Richmond Symphony, Wichita Symphony, Sequoia Symphony and Flagstaff and Hartford symphonies.

Daniela is passionate about enriching lives through music. She delights audiences by performing distinctive recital programs, engaging in recording projects with a thematic focus, teaching students of all ages and founding the world music band Gaelica. Daniela finds great fulfillment from both music and philanthropy; her goal is to encourage others to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.

Professional Career

She has performed recitals as both soloist and accompanist throughout Europe and North America. Additionally, she has taught master classes in England, Italy, and Texas. Ms. De Vittorio holds an avid interest in the music of Calabrian composer Alfonso Rendano; in fact she is considered to be world leading interpreter of his works.

Daniela offers Piano and Music Theory lessons to all ages through Rooted Music Coaching and Nebraska Music Teachers Association certification. Her goal is to help her students discover their unique talents and realize their full potential.

She has won multiple competitions and performed at Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, and she was selected as a Yamaha International Artist to perform with orchestras on four continents. Additionally, she regularly attends Lorin Maazel’s Castleton Festival as Italian Diction coach and Italian Art-Song Accompanist.

Achievement and Honors

Daniela has won many prizes at national and international piano competitions, and been invited to perform as a soloist or chamber musician around the globe.

She is widely-renowned for accompanying Lieder performances and has been invited to give lectures, musicology classes and Italian Diction coaching at several renowned American Universities.

She is an international Yamaha artist and has performed with orchestras around the globe. She made her orchestra debuts with Orquesta Filarmonica de Jalisco, Richmond Symphony and Minas Gerais Philharmonic among many others; as well as appearing as soloist with San Angelo Symphony, Wichita Symphony, Sequoia Symphony, Flagstaff Symphony and others. Additionally, she is an advocate of music written by women composers, recording extensively within this genre.

Personal Life

Daniela is committed to enriching lives through music, an objective she shares with all of her piano students from young children to mature adults. She regularly performs unique recital programs and recordings with a thematic purpose, and serves as an advocate of classical music for all age groups by conducting talkbacks with piano students from diverse backgrounds.

Daniela has performed as a soloist in numerous venues throughout the United States and Latin America, such as the Adrienne Arsht Center, New World Center and James L Knight Center in Miami. Additionally, she has made appearances with Orquesta Filarmonica de Jalisco Orchestra as well as Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.

Daniela offers an exclusive service – “Soul Masterpieces”. These individualized compositions feature original music created especially for you or loved ones by Daniela herself – she composes, sings and plays the piece herself!
