Early Life and Education

David Falke was raised in Houston, Texas and earned a bachelor’s degree in business honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Following that, he embarked on his career in education with Dallas ISD, teaching math classes at Edison Middle Learning Center and Dade Middle School.

He then returned to Harvard to earn a master’s degree in education policy and analysis. Since then, he has been working with students and families throughout Dallas ISD.

David Falke is a former CPA and CFO of an industrial gas company who currently serves as Executive Pastor at Liquid Church. At his position, he is accountable for overseeing church finances, central leaders and strategic planning.

He also oversees and leads ministry services, information technology, children’s ministry and personal finance ministry. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife Rebekah and their four kids: Desmond, Keira, Owen and Mikaela.

Herman Falke was born in Holland and chose the religious life at an early age. As a student, he assisted at church services while earning a bachelor’s degree in art and an education in chemistry. Later he turned into photography for editorial and corporate clients – his work being featured in major international publications as well as prestigious photo festivals like PHOTOVILLE in New York, Visa Pour L’Image in Perpignan and Triennale der Photographie in Hamburg.
