David McKell began his YouTube career at age 12, becoming one of Screen International’s stars of tomorrow by 2014.

In 2014, he made his television debut in a recurring role on BBC One’s medical drama Holby City (1999-20). Later he took on leading roles in action films Montana and Bloodshed.

Early Life and Education

David Mckell was born May 1, 1997 in England. He is best known for his roles in Suspects and Montana.

After graduating from high school, he attended Brigham Young University and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

During this period, he also appeared in various movies and launched his YouTube series entitled The Adventures of Lil McKell.

In 2014, he was honored as one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow and thus gained additional exposure and appearances.

McKell was instrumental in improving public services and welfare of New South Wales residents during his time as governor. Additionally, he played an essential role in environmental conservation – being an avid supporter of water and soil conservation, and creating the Kosciusko State Park through legislation.

McKell was an instrumental member of New South Wales government, leading several notable social and industrial reforms as well as leading post-war reconstruction efforts across the state. As elected to the House of Representatives in 1920, he served as Minister under both John Storey and Jack Lang. Following Labor’s win at the 1941 state election, he replaced Lang as leader of the opposition and became Premier shortly thereafter. While in office he implemented several innovations – such as creating the Housing Commission of New South Wales which began operating in 1942; as well as accepting a knighthood which caused some contention within Labor.

Personal Life

McKell served the public in various capacities, from police officer and investigator to director of Suffolk County Legal Aid. Additionally, he was an active community theater participant, appearing in multiple productions including “The Peacemaker”, which featured Nicole Kidman and George Clooney as co-stars.

Mary said her father enjoyed writing poetry that would often appear in local newspapers. Additionally, he created a children’s storybook series for their local library.

At first, he was famous for playing Santa at St. James General Store – for which he received $660 per performance – until 2011, when the county executive attacked his pay and demanded it be reduced in light of budgetary issues. That event led to national media coverage; after which McKell’s wife explained he received his job back from them as an actor; also noted was her father was an avid railroad enthusiast and talented photographer.
