David Pritchett

David Pritchett is an ecologist, activist, and healthcare practitioner whose writing draws upon his interests. His articles have been featured in Permaculture Magazine, Permaculture Design Magazine, The Other Journal, and Missio Dei Journal.

He is a shareholder with Duluth-based law firm Fryberger, Buchanan, Smith & Frederick and has extensive expertise in real estate law, corporate law and municipal law.

David was an inquisitive child, always wanting to explore the world around him. He enjoyed spending time with his dad Larry, who shared his expertise on farming and ranching with him.

As a teenager, he attended Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado and earned an Associates Degree in Computer Science and Applied Math. Additionally, he began working in the computer industry.

His career has always been about learning something new and he has enjoyed working as an assistant director of admissions at both the University of the District of Columbia and Texas Southern University.

He has also been an advocate for the restoration of urban streams, lobbying government agencies to safeguard these vital habitats.

David Pritchett is the newest addition to Haynie & Company’s family of Certified Public Accountants and has a deep-seated passion for taxation. He assists individuals and corporations with filing personal and corporate returns, pass-thru entities with federal and state authorities as well as offering planning and consulting services for small businesses.

David is a California native who currently resides on the middle Westside neighborhood of Santa Barbara. As both home renter and frequent bus-rider, he’s actively involved in his community groups such as Mesa Village and Oak Park. Additionally, David has spearheaded some notable civic projects like naming Carpinteria Salt Marsh Nature Park and founding the Carpinteria Creek Watershed Coalition to restore steelhead Trout habitat.
