David Whitesell, Gig Harbor High School Teacher, Dies at 52
Last week, David Whitesell, an actor, writer and producer best known for his roles on shows such as Oz and Homicide: Life on the Street, passed away at 52 years of age. He was the brother of WME co-CEO Patrick Whitesell.
He served as special collections curator at UVa and faculty member of Rare Book School. His works include a comprehensive bibliographic description of books and pamphlets of American verse printed between 1610 and 1820.

David Whitesell was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who served an Italian mission for his church.
