She broke away from Doyle-Lewis, which was managing Garth Brooks at that time, and contracted with Ken Kragen of Los Angeles who managed legendary country singers Kenny Rogers and Travis Tritt. This move further cemented Yearwood’s place within the industry while opening doors for other successes too.
