Emily Hampshire is a Canadian actress. She is best known for playing Vivienne in 2006’s Snow Cake, and for her role as Jennifer Goines in Syfy drama series 12. In addition to her work on television, Hampshire has also appeared in commercials and music videos. She has won awards for her performances in films and television series.

Hampshire started her acting career at the young age of fourteen. She first appeared in a play, “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, as Sandy. After working on a few episodes of the show, she was discovered by a casting director. In the following years, Hampshire has been seen in a number of TV shows and movies.

Hampshire made her film debut in Dead Innocent in 1996, starring an Oscar-nominated actress as her mother. Soon after, she relocated to Toronto and began receiving steady roles. Her breakthrough role came in 1998 when she starred as Angelina Milleflores in the comedy series “Boy Meets Girl.” The role was widely praised and Hampshire said that she was fortunate to get offers to play quirky characters that would push her career forward.

Hampshire is a Canadian who grew up in Montreal. She attended an all-girls Catholic school. At age eleven, she knew she wanted to pursue acting as a profession. Although she did not enjoy the strict structure of school, she received encouragement from the vice-principal.

The actress is currently appearing in two television series. In Schitt’s Creek, she portrays fan favorite Stevie Budd. This role earned her multiple Canadian Screen Awards. She also played the role of Jennifer Goines in the movie “12 Monkeys” with Brad Pitt, making her one of the most memorable characters in history.
