Faith Hill is a country singer/songwriter with a long list of hits. Her songs include Breathe, Mississippi Girl, and The Way You Love Me. In 1996, she married Tim McGraw, a fellow country musician. They have been a prominent couple ever since. Together, they’ve had several hit duets and had a long-running Las Vegas residency. Faith Hill was also the voice for Monday Night Football between 2007 and 2013. She is currently working on a new studio album.
Faith, Hill’s fourth studio album was released in 1998. It was a crossover hit, and helped launch Hill’s career. “This Kiss,” from the album, achieved crossover success, and it sold five million copies. Hill’s popularity continued to grow, and she began to play headline shows. In April 1999, she launched her first major solo tour.
In 2005, Faith Hill returned to her country roots with the album Fireflies. It featured several chart-topping singles as well as a duet featuring Tim McGraw. The album was certified double platinum, and she won a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals. McGraw and Faith Hill then embarked on the Soul2Soul Tour. It was a huge success and was the most successful country tour in history.
Faith Hill’s meteoric rise to country stardom coincided with her own personal turmoil. Hill was adopted at the age of five. She began looking for her birth mother. She eventually found her birth mother in 1993. She’s never revealed her birth mother publicly, but the two have maintained contact. Faith Hill and Daniel Hill divorced in 1994.
Faith Hill’s parents adopted her at a young age and raised her in a small town near Jackson, Mississippi. She began singing at an early age and was inspired by the legendary Reba McEntire. In addition to being a successful singer and songwriter, Faith Hill also has a charity project. The Faith Hill Family Literacy Project aims to help people become more educated. One in five adults is functionally illiterate, and Faith Hill’s mission is to educate and empower individuals. Celebrities and the general public have been positive about the program.
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are married for 25 years. They have three daughters. They have also collaborated on many projects. They also collaborated on the Soul2Soul tour which became the largest country music tour.
