One person was killed in a car accident in Maryland today. Epamenondas Efantis (51), was the driver of the Hyundai Sante Fe. He crossed the median and struck another vehicle, a Subaru stationwagon head-on. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. His passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
