Zac Efron and Garrett Clayton

Earlier this week we saw the two new teen heartthrobs, Zac Efron and Garrett Clayton, in the movie, Teen Beach Movie 2. In the movie, Efron plays the role of a nerdy teenager, and Clayton plays the role of a rich guy who gets sucked into Efron’s world. The movie also stars Vanessa Hudgens, who plays a teetering teen who tries to stay out of trouble. The movie is also based on a real-life story, as two men try to rescue a teenage girl from a gang of bullies.

During a recent interview, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron spoke briefly about their former relationship. Among the topics they discussed was the High School Musical franchise. The two starred together in the popular film series.

While the two are not together now, they still share a common ancestry. The paternal grandfather of Zac Efron was born in New York. He is a descendant of Jewish emigrants from Bocki, Poland. Interestingly enough, his last name is Hebrew.
