George Hallman is an English education professor at Kansas University and also serves as director of the KU Center for Writing Studies, leading several research projects. She is a member of the Conference on English Education and recipient of its Research Initiative Grant, having published numerous articles in different journals as well as authoring Teaching Writing Through Service-Learning which was released in 2010.
