Henry Brake was an AxiCom PR leader who oversaw some of their largest technology clients. Known for his emphasis on detail and quality.

Hyde conducted experiments that demonstrated how a ship could be fitted with brakes to slow it down, which he presented at a Society of Naval and Marine Engineers meeting in 1908. Unfortunately, however, he never attempted this method on any actual ships.

Early Life and Education

Henry Brake was a longstanding resident of Deer Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador and played an instrumental role in its community as an avid fisherman who shared his knowledge freely with anyone looking to learn. Henry joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary after graduation. Working hard towards his goals while encouraging those around him, Henry will be greatly missed by family, friends and his extended circle of family and friends who loved him dearly. Suddenly at 45 years old he passed away suddenly at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in St John’s NL.

Professional Career

Henry Brake joined AxiCom in 1999, working tirelessly to expand and bring in business for its clients. Quickly becoming part of a team and manager role – and later leading UK and European offices.

He was an honored AxiCom team member and valued client partner, leaving a huge network of friends, colleagues and family behind to grieve his passing.

Henry was an avid fisherman who loved sharing his expertise. Henry is survived by his wife Ivernia, daughters Bobbi Lynn and Tiffany, granddaughter Shannon, special friend Rosie, as well as many extended family members. Funeral arrangements were handled by Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel on North Main Street in Deer Lake; where a memorial tree will be planted in his honor.

Achievement and Honors

He was an enthusiastic supporter of his agency’s clients, employees and industry partners; and was proud to celebrate its milestones and successes with colleagues, friends and family alike. He leaves behind his wife Ivernia; daughters Bobbi Lynn (Kevin), Tiffany (Kevin) and granddaughter Shannon; along with an abundance of family and friends.

Henry was among the first engines at the Works to be rebuilt as a Stanier 5MT thanks to Sir Topham Hatt’s connection with Sir William Stanier, and often felt overlooked, particularly by Thomas and Percy, while being teased by Duck, James, and Daisy. Additionally, Henry struggled with his fire needing special coal to get it burning properly which the Fat Controller fixed by offering new paint (he chose green).

Personal Life

Henry Brake was an enthusiastic family man, spending much time with his wife and daughter as well as fishing and being active within his community.

He will be remembered by everyone he knew for being kind and generous; all those he touched will miss him dearly. He leaves behind his loving wife Ivernia, daughter Tiffany, grandson Hunter and special niece/nephew Hailey/William as well as Scott/Flora of his parents along with many friends/relatives.

Television audiences first met him as the Night King on HBO’s Game of Thrones and later as Baron Edwin Pryce from Kingsman: The Secret Service crime drama series. Additionally, he appeared as mobster Terry Mandel in Mob City as a regular character.

He has appeared in over 40 movies and 25 TV series since 1981, such as Feedback and Payne & Redemption.

Brake is a proud father to two sons. Ryan was born in 1999 while Henry arrived on 20 August 2002. Unfortunately, Brake remains secretive about his personal life and rarely appears with either child at public events.

He is an exceptionally gifted and well-paid actor who earns an estimated net worth of approximately $3 Million through various movie roles he’s taken part in. Living a luxurious lifestyle, owning multiple houses in different locations while also owning two Czech Wolfdogs as pets is part of his lavish lifestyle.
