Henry Ogala Passes Away With A Major Heart Attack
UNI’s defense had struggled throughout its opening three weeks of the season. But safety Jordan Howden managed to break through Western Illinois quarterback Henry Ogala’s screen pass into the end zone and intercept it, returning it for a touchdown return.
Oglala Lakota are members of Ochethi SakowiNG (Seven Council Fires) who reside on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
Early Life and Education
Henry was an honors graduate from the University of Texas. Along with his wife, they were extremely active members in their community and participated in many social clubs – from Texas Connections to Ocala Civic Theatre board membership and Texas Connections leadership roles to being president of Kingdom of Sun Chapter Military Officers Association of America as well as being members of Marion County Veterans Council.
He assisted St. Thomas Aquinas to win a state championship while also serving as quarterback at Boyd Anderson in Hollywood, FL. Subsequently he went on to play for both Coastal Carolina University and Lincoln University.
Professional Career
Henry Ogala is a 6-1, 175-pound Pro-Style Quarterback who may possess one of the strongest arms in the 2023 Draft Class. Though relatively unnoticed thus far this offseason, Ogala has impressed his workouts and impressed NFL Draft Diamonds scout Nick DiMeglio during a Zoom Interview session recently. Ogala currently faces off with JUCO Transfer Kevin Johnson and Grant Ferraulo to be Richmond’s starting quarterback before becoming an excellent backup option when entering the NFL Draft Draft class.
Personal Life
Henry Ogala is an under-the-radar Pro-Style Quarterback currently playing college football who recently sat down for an interview with NFL Draft Diamonds for their Zoom Interview platform.
Charlotte Wentz of Glen Gardner received a Bachelor’s of Chemistry, with honors, from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on June 3. Andrea Jindracek from Glen Gardner was also recognized by Knox College Galesburg Illinois with a bachelor of creative writing degree.
