The Big Wedding of Robbie Amell and Italia Ricci

The big wedding of the day was celebrated by Canadian model and actor Robbie Amell and his long time girlfriend Italia Ricci. The two of them tied the knot on Saturday in a romantic ceremony near Los Angeles. They were wed in the presence of close friends and family. According to Entertainment Tonight, the nuptials were a sight to behold. This tidbit comes just one day after the duo were spotted wearing matching wedding bands.

As for the actual wedding itself, the ceremony took place in the Castaway Restaurant in Burbank. A small group of guests traveled to the location for a rehearsal dinner. Guests included Robbie’s cousin, Steven Amell and his partner Christina Ricci, along with Robbie’s sister, Mavi, and their respective spouses, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega. Several actors also attended, including Kiefer Sutherland and Talan Torriero. After the festivities, the pair were seen strolling hand in hand as the cameras rolled.

The couple has been dating for almost four years, and have been spotted together at least on and off the set of the popular cartoon series, Unnatural History. Earlier this year, Robbie proposed to his longtime girlfriend with a diamond ring. On the other hand, the two have been rumored to be engaged for over a year. Despite their hectic schedules, the two seem to be having a blast. However, they aren’t planning any wedding extensions just yet.

There are a lot of stars in the celebrity arena, and Italia and Robbie are no different. Their relationship has been cordial, but the two still have their differences. For instance, the former is a bit of a closet snob, while the latter has the most funky hair and clothes. In the end, however, they have managed to find common ground.

During the wedding planning process, both were surprised to discover the importance of the wedding ring. According to their best friend and stylist, Jeri Baker, who recreated their Chasing Life looks, a wedding ring is more of a necessity than an option. Not only that, but a ring may be the only way to keep their love alive.

What’s more, the engagement ring and wedding may have been a cliche. But a true love affair may have been worth it. Besides, the two of them have a son, Robert, who was born in September of this year. If you ask Robbie and Italia, their marriage is the best thing that’s ever happened to them. With that in mind, the couple has embraced their newfound roles as parents, albeit, in the sexiest way possible.

Having said that, they have a lot of work ahead of them. Italia is busy starring in the hit ABC Family series, Designated Survivor, while Robbie is working on his new television show, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, in which he plays the titular Silver Banchee. Hopefully, this will prove to be a smooth transition. Until then, I’ll be keeping an eye out for the next major celebrity wedding.
