Janeen Stamos is the younger sister of famed actor John Stamos and prefers leading a quiet, private life, without divulging too many personal details to media.

She played recurring roles on USA Network’s Necessary Roughness and Fox’s black comedy series Scream Queens; additionally she appeared in Full House: The Series on Netflix which premiered in 2016.

Early Life and Education

John Stamos was born August 19, 1963 in Cypress, California to parents who are second-generation Greek American restaurateurs. Rather than attend college he decided to follow his dream and within three weeks had secured a role on General Hospital!

Stamos has appeared in various made-for-TV movies and stage productions, as well as television commercials (such as 10-10-987 long distance phone carrier’s commercial) since 2004. Furthermore, he is the celebrity ambassador of Childhelp, an adoption-related nonprofit organization.

Janeen Stamos is the sister of famed actor John Stamos. She has appeared in various television shows and movies, as well as being active in music production.

Starting her musical journey at four, she taught herself drums before transitioning to guitar. Later she formed Destiny, playing concerts at amusement parks and parties before independently releasing an album entitled Shades of Blue in 1994 featuring contributions by Lanny Cordola, Gary Griffin, Sandra Stephens and Tony Guerrero.

After her success on Full House, she went on to star in several series such as Jake in Progress and ER. Additionally, she made several made-for-TV movies; most notably her appearance in Wedding Wars (2006) in which she advocated for same-sex couples’ marriages.

Additionally, Stamos was widely criticized for his defense of Lori Loughlin in her college fraud case; later remaining silent over Candace’s anti-LGBT comments which ultimately lead to him staying quiet about them altogether and taking responsibility for her anti-LGBT comments; subsequent fallout has seen Stamos take steps against Loughlin on a number of fronts including advocating on her defense case and going after Lori Loughlin during her college fraud case despite going to bat for her in defense and staying silent about Candace’s anti-LGBT remarks which left many upset and concerned;

Personal Life

Janeen Stamos is best known as an actress; however, she also serves as an ambassador for Project Cuddle and Childhelp, hosting their respective Independence Day concerts since 2017. Additionally, Janeen hosts an active fundraising team, having hosted their respective concerts annually since 2017.

Beginning his acting career as Blackie Parrish on General Hospital in 1982 and garnering two Soap Opera Digest Awards, he later went on to starring as lead in Dreams about an aspiring rock band for CBS television in 1985 before co-starring alongside Jack Klugman in You Again? in 1986.

Stamos has appeared on both Fox sitcom Grandfathered and Netflix sequel Fuller House. He remains close with both Alaina Talarico, his twin sister, and their children; furthermore he’s an avid follower of Beach Boys concerts having attended multiple performances over time.
