John Matosian

John Matosian is an American insurance broker based in Truckee, California and employed by Heffernan Insurance Brokers.

Early Life and Education

John Matosian was raised in New York City by his father, who is a successful businessman and philanthropist. After attending New York University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Since then, John has held board positions at several companies in technology, education, and not-for-profit sectors. At work, John takes pride in leading by example and taking an economically responsible approach; moreover, he always puts his family first. Achievements and Honors

Matosian is an accomplished composer and musician who has earned numerous awards for his work. He’s composed music for numerous films and television series such as Falcon Crest, Challenger, Unnatural Causes, Flight 90: Disaster on the Potomac, Ironclads, and Carnivale. Additionally, he holds multiple Emmy Award nominations for his sound editing work on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which earned him multiple Emmy Award nominations along with several Golden Reel Award nominations.

Through his career, he has earned a great deal of respect within the community. He is an active member of both the International Academy of Cinema and Television Arts and Academy of Television Science, as well as being an advisor for Armenian Church Youth Organization.
