John McGoldrick – Irish Folk Musician

A master of flutes, whistles and uilleann pipes, john mcgoldrick is an Irish folk musician. He has toured with Mark Knopfler and is currently a member of Capercaillie.

He has been in the industry for more than 32 years. He currently serves as the CEO of Dart Energy, a company that holds rights to drill for shale gas and coal bed methane in the UK.

Early Life and Education

John McGoldrick was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. He was the son of John Leslie and Sarah (Walker) McGoldrick. He attended Harvard University and earned a degree in history and law.
