John Saget is a renowned comedian and actor best known for his roles as Danny Tanner on the hit TV show Full House.

On January 9, 2019, he was discovered deceased in his hotel room. The Orange County Sheriff’s office confirmed the death and determined the cause to be blunt head trauma.

Early Life and Education

Sagat was a General Officer in the Indian Army. He engaged in many battles and earned himself several accolades.

He served as a staff officer in the Indian Air Force, leading a battalion of Indian soldiers during their liberation of Goa and being part of the team that took down Pakistani Air Force at Dacca.

Saget later became involved with the Scleroderma Research Foundation (SRF), hosting their Cool Comedy, Hot Cuisine fundraiser for many years.

He also made the short film Through Adam’s Eyes, about a boy undergoing surgery to correct a genetic defect. This earned him an Academy Award nomination in 1978.

Saget had a thriving career as both an actor and director. His 1996 film “For Hope,” about his sister Gay’s battle with scleroderma, received critical acclaim upon its debut and helped spur federal funding for research efforts.
