New Milford CT Town Council Member’s Facebook Profile

Town officials in New Milford are concerned about a recent post on the town’s Facebook page by town council member Scott Chamberlain. The post describes Chamberlain’s interest in the subculture known as Furry Fandom, where members dress up in animal costumes and participate in role-playing conventions. Many members of this community also communicate regularly online. A town resident posted screenshots of Chamberlain’s profile on a private website for members of the “furry” community. The posts list a variety of sexual “likes” and “hates,” including rape and sex with minors.
