Professional Career
Noah LaFine began playing baseball at an early age, and his talents quickly became evident. By middle school he was pitching nationally on national stages; his success caught the attention of Power 5 schools as scouts came scouting for potential talent.
He started off his high school career strong, garnering offers from schools such as Vanderbilt. Following a video he posted during COVID-19 pandemic that displayed his ability to throw in the mid 80s, more offers came his way from SEC programs.
LaFine gathers over the rubber well and separates his hands quickly before working with a clean arm and release, staying inline towards the plate throughout his release process. His fastball tops 81mph with arm side run, as well as offering armside movement accompanied by an effective changeup pitch that shows great circle variation.
