Vans has long been one of the go-to skateboarding shoes since their introduction in the 80s. Made famous by Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, their iconic checkerboard slip-on has since become an essential component of every skater’s closet.
This new handheld NIRS technology appears promising for differentiating EVOO from lower-grade olive oils like ROO and POO, yet additional research must be conducted to expand the scope of compounds studied.
Early Life and Education
Olive Ann Beech was born into a low-income family and worked hard to make ends meet. She attended Wichita Falls High School before continuing on to Texas Woman’s University to earn a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Once graduated, Olive Ann worked as both a public school teacher and at various other jobs before eventually joining Beechcraft company as their employee.
This file consists of correspondence, clippings, and publications related to an April 1973 article from Fortune magazine that listed Olive Ann Beech among the “Ten Highest-Ranking Women in Big Business.” Also included is a brochure entitled A Historical Portrait of Christ Church in Boston as well as copies of Aviation Space magazines from March/April 1979 and November/December 1980.
Achievement and Honors
Olive was an accomplished woman, possessing many talents from being a cook to seamstress, mother, housewife, philanthropist to her community, genealogy researcher and genealogist. Olive resided both Grand Gorge and Roxbury NY her entire life where she attended Jay Gould Memorial Church and Sherrill Public Library as well as volunteering at Roxbury EMS as a member. When possible she enjoyed traveling while alive.

Personal Life
Van Gogh began painting olive groves shortly after arriving at Saint-Remy asylum in May 1889, as an expression of personal significance to him as well as of exploring expressive techniques that would provide relief through art. These paintings represent his personal commitment and belief in its therapeutic effects.
Documentary film Olive Thomas: Everybody’s Sweetheart was released in 2004 by McFarland Publishing Company and in 2007 Michelle Vogel published her biography of the actress. Additionally, The Redmonds added what they call a Gaucho couch to their camper which folds out and doubles as a bed for extra convenience – this and other features has made Olive a wonderful companion on future family trips!
