Scarlett Johansson Attends The Tony Awards

‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’ star Scarlett Johansson attended the 64th annual Tony Awards in New York City. She was nominated for best actress in a play for her role as Catherine. Her performance earned her the Tony Award. This was her first Broadway credit, and she was also the recipient of the Olivier award for her role in the show. She was also nominated for her role in Miss Saigon. Her acceptance speech included a joke directed at Michael Douglas.

The 58th annual Tony Awards took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The event was hosted by Kevin Spacey. Will Smith and Kristen Wiig were also present at the ceremony. Beyonce and her husband, Jay-Z, were also on hand. Other celebrities in attendance included Orlando Bloom, John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen, and Uma Thurman.

Elie Saab’s dress featured a plunging neckline, curve-hugging silhouette and beautiful color nuances. Other outfits included black lace and peplum tops, skinny black trousers, and spiky heels.

Scarlett Johansson made her Off-Broadway debut at age eight and has since performed in many plays on the Great White Way. She has been nominated for several awards including the Olivier award for her performance in Miss Saigon. In 2010, she won the Tony Award for her role in A View From the Bridge. She has also been nominated for a best actress in a musical Oscar. Her other notable movie credits include “Thor: Ragnarok” and “The Theory of Everything”.

The Tony Award is not a “People’s Choice Award,” but a nomination is still a big deal. It’s a prestigious honor that recognizes outstanding performers. The 2013 nominees are expected to be announced tomorrow. Some of the other nominees are Katie Holmes, Tom Hanks, Jessica Chastain, and Paul Rudd.
