He has performed as The Weeknd during the Super Bowl LV halftime show last year.
The “Today” show’s Halloween costume contest drew a lot of comments from viewers. Some viewers were surprised that Roker was dressed as The Weeknd while others were very happy with his performance.
The “Today” show crew also wore Halloween costumes, and reenacted some of the most memorable Super Bowl halftime shows. They also paid tribute to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who won the Super Bowl LV.

She is married to husband Eric, a self proclaimed “non-conformist” who has a knack for the aforementioned crows. This combo has provided Tory with the perfect setting to hone her craft. Besides standup, Tory is also a regular at UCB (Undercover) where she has also branched out in the comedy department.

During the Today Show’s Friday, October 29 edition, the crew wore themed costumes to commemorate the NFL’s big game. Each host donned jerseys of their favorite team. In addition, they performed skits together. Some hosts channeled the personalities of their favorite teams, and others channeled iconic Broadway characters.
The hosts also channeled famous commercials from the Super Bowl, including the famous 1999 Budweiser spot. They recreated the commercial, titled “Wazzuuuuuuup!”. In addition, they greeted each other with the famous line, “Wazzuuuuuuuup!” during the game.
Other hosts also dressed as characters from other shows, such as the cast of The Queen’s Gambit. Al Roker dressed as The Weeknd for the 2021 show. In addition, he lip synced to The Weeknd’s song.

During the “Today” show’s “Football Night in America” themed Halloween extravaganza, the crew paid tribute to some of the most memorable Super Bowl halftime shows of all time. They also channeled the “Budweiser” commercial that was featured on Monday Night Football. They even made the most of the occasion by channeling the classic 1999 Budweiser ad that featured friends getting together for a round of beers.
The “Today” show’s weatherman got in on the action by putting on a glitzy red blazer and lip syncing to The Weeknd’s “Super Bowl LV Halftime Show” song. He even had a short black wig to go along with the impressive costume.
