Motorcycle rally debut on the Buffalo Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage
Whether you’re a moto-enthusiast or just a fan of music, Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s 10-day Concert Series is the place to be. Located on 600 creek-fed acres, the campground is home to world-class entertainment and a variety of exciting exhibits and contests.
The festival is the largest gathering of music fans and moto-enthusiasts in the world. It’s also the longest-running independent music festival. It has hosted the biggest names in music since the 1980s, including Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and Kid Rock.
In addition to a 10-day concert series, Sturgis Buffalo Chip is also home to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. This annual event draws thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Among the many activities at the rally are concerts, bike shows, races, and more.
The 82nd Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is scheduled for August 7-10, and will feature several music performances. The first is a kickoff party that includes a performance by The Quiet Riot.
New concert series at the Buffalo Chip
During the 82nd Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the Buffalo Chip will host nine days of epic entertainment. The lineup includes major headliners, top names in hip-hop, and unexpected artist pairings.
One of the major headliners is Snoop Dogg. Snoop is a renowned rapper, media personality, actor, and songwriter. He has released 19 studio albums throughout his 30-year career. His most recent album is called BODR. He has been involved in multiple international tours. His most famous songs include “Drop It Like It Hot,” “Young, Wild, and Free,” and “Nuthin’ But A G Thang.” He has also performed on hundreds of stages throughout the world.
Snoop Dogg will perform at the Buffalo Chip stage on August 6 at 10 p.m. His concert typically lasts about 1.25 hours. Other artists in his lineup include PAPA ROACH, BUCKCHERRY, Back In Black, Zillion, and DJ Hulio.
The Art of Rap is another highlight of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Motorcycle and Music Festival. This concert will feature the best of hip-hop, R&B, and top DJs. The festival poster was designed by moto artist Russell Murchie.
