A Horicon Man Pleads Not Guilty in a June Crash That Killed a Pregnant Woman and Her One-Year-Ol
Steven Bruskiewicz Jr, 31, from Horicon was charged in June with negligent operation of a vehicle and reckless driving which resulted in the deaths of pregnant woman and one-year old son, both at his Horicon home. At his arraignment on Wednesday he pled not guilty to these two charges of Homicide by Negligent Operation of Vehicle as well as Reckless Driving Causing Great Bodily Harm.
Mike Bruskiewicz has resided in Iron Ridge for 12 years, and been married to Marie T Bruskiewicz for 30 years. Together they are raising two children: Hayden Bruskiewicz and Katlyn Bruskiewicz.
Early Life and Education
Debbie Wolff Lenz of Kaukauna is survived by her husband, Larry Lenz; one daughter Sarah Lenz; two sisters Cynthia Nelson and Marie Bruskiewicz as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Unfortunately she was predeceased by both her father Gilbert Wolff as well as mother Theresa Wolff who both preceded her in death.

On Wednesday in Washington County court he pled not guilty and the felony charges stem from an incident in which an unborn baby and 1-year-old son from Mayville all perished when their vehicle was rear-ended by his vehicle while traveling southbound on State Highway 164; their vehicle then collided with an oncoming northbound vehicle driven by 67-year-old Waukesha man while traveling south on State Highway 164; pushing their vehicle into oncoming traffic where it collided broadsided by another vehicle driven by another driver 67-year old Waukesha man before colliding into another one of their cars while traveling southbound along State Highway 164 and colliding into another oncoming car which collison occurred shortly thereafter colliding into oncoming traffic before colliding head on with another oncoming car from which Steven pleaded not guilty of vehicular homicide charges stemmed from that incident when it rear-sided by another car driven by Steven 67-year old Waukesha man’s vehicle colliaffected it then broadsided by another driving from Waukesha man on State Highway 67-year old Waukesha man to broadsided by another car from northbound route 167 when travelling southbound which later broadsided them on this State Highway 164 and broadsideding them again; all died during which both vehicles broadsided each other at same place 167 which hit them after broadside by another.
Achievement and Honors
The Bruskiewicz Racing Team captured their second Figure 8 division championship this season, led by Scott Goetzke’s win in the Figure 8 division. Goetzke recorded six feature wins and thirteen top three finishes to claim victory, while Stefanie Losiniecki, the sole woman racing in this division, reached her career best third-place points finish while Rick Schaefer and Andy Welter completed the top five finishers in points standings.
