Early Life and Education

Coverick serves as director in the firm’s North American turnaround and restructuring practice in Dallas, with extensive corporate financial advisory experience gained while serving both in court and out-of-court assignments. He has provided advisory services across multiple industries, including technology, media and telecommunications (TMT); professional services; energy; hospitality; healthcare as well as being involved with numerous chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. He served as president of the Kelley School of Business Alumni Association from 2018-19 and currently sits on its Leadership and Development Council. Additionally, he serves on Aflac’s board of directors; previously serving on those of Seadrill Limited and iHeart Media boards as well. Furthermore, he holds both CFA charter and Certified Turnaround Professional status.

Personal Life

Alvarez and Marsal senior director Jason Coverick has extensive experience working on projects relating to cryptocurrency; energy; technology, media and telecommunications (TMT); healthcare as well as blockchain-related companies. He currently acts as the financial advisor to FTX Trading Ltd during its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings as well as serving Seadrill Limited, iHeart Media White Star Petroleum as well as Official Committees of Unsecured Creditors of SunEdison and Avaya as notable clients.
