Steven Roby is an experienced immigration attorney based out of Michigan, having represented clients before both U.S. Immigration Courts and Board of Appeals.

Early Life and Education

Steve hails from Concord, Massachusetts where he attended The Fenn School, a private institution located there, as well as Middlesex School. After attending Denison University in Granville Ohio for four years he then started working professionally at Chicago’s Second City improvisational comedy theater where his professional journey started.

Over three decades he has worked at Bay Area radio as co-producer of syndicated shows, music director, morning show host, teacher and coach.

Dr. Roby is an advocate for student equity and access, believing that strong, caring teachers play a pivotal role in shaping academic experiences for their pupils. Her research and work focus on the teacher mentoring experience as well as its impact on student achievement.

Professional Career

Roby is known for his commitment to his work and sense of community, always prioritizing clients over himself and developing strong client relationships. As an accomplished athlete – having played basketball at Saint Louis University where he earned over one thousand career points while starting four seasons under Jim Crews and Travis Ford respectively. Roby currently resides in Denver as a cornerback with the Broncos; having grown up in Memphis Tennessee. Married and having three children.

As a photographer, Steve prioritizes providing exceptional services to his clients. He is well known for producing quality work within tight deadlines; among his clientele are Safeway, Banana Republic, Sobe Kick Gym and Reader’s Group.

Charles Roby was the eldest of Joyce Roby’s three children and was born October 18, 1955. At school he earned first team All-Central Catholic League football player and earned two varsity letters in track & field; also being honored with membership to National Honor Society. Charles leaves behind Doveina, three children (Haley Leach, Kaden Dennen and Zachary Dennen); their spouses; as well as dog Baily as well as membership at Crossroads Community Church of London where he devoted himself. Charles loved life and faith alike!

Personal Life

After more than 30 years in broadcast media, Steve has seen success as co-producer, music director, morning show host, and consultant to Bay Area organizations and companies such as Safeway, Banana Republic, Sobe Kick Gym, Learn Up, Reader’s Group and Emeryville Chamber of Commerce.

Roby had begun writing new material for a solo album when he received an offer from Neal Casal to rejoin 6 String Drag, but his death in August 2019 halted that recording process and Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools stepped in instead to produce it; its result is reflective of Roby’s newfound life circumstances at that time.

Net Worth

Roby is a veteran punter in the National Football League (NFL). From 1983-1992 he was one of the premier punters, playing for Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins respectively.

Roby’s leg was so powerful, it could propel punts up to 120 yards away into the end zone with ease. Dolphins teammate Dan Marino once remembered Roby kicking one so high it hit the roof of a domed stadium.

He now devotes his full attention to writing. He has published several books, estimated his net worth at over $197 Million, owns 116,355 units of Linde Plc stock (LIN), has completed 19 trades of this stock since 2017, with his latest sale occurring on 1 May 2023.
