Early Life and Education
Chin grew up in Kingston, Jamaica where she attended Mavisville Preparatory School. Both her parents, Richard and Christine Chin were members of a band known as The Carnations; Tami Chin also sings and the family has its own recording studio.
Chin first gained international acclaim as she won Season Five of NBC’s reality singing competition The Voice.
