He sits on the board of directors of Geneva 708 Mental Health Board; serves on the First National Bank of Geneva board; and works as case manager at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Multidisciplinary Assessment Program. In addition, he volunteers overnight at both Hesed House and Lazarus House.

He is married to Sarah, with one son living with them in Geneva, Illinois. He identifies with both the Chicago Bears and New York Giants football teams.
