Thomas Trigg
Tom Trigg brings over 49 years of education experience. Throughout that time, he has held positions such as mathematics teacher/coach, high school principal, assistant superintendent of administration, and school district administrator. Her dedication to her profession is evident by the numerous awards she has won throughout her career, such as Outstanding Young Educator award from Lenexa Chamber of Commerce, Administrator of the Year award from Kansas Association of School Administrators and Leadership Award from National Society for Civil Rights Education.
Her athletes have received many honors. These include Artisha Manuel in women’s track and field, Tyneka Turner for basketball and Brenden Givan and Michael Thomas on the football field.
Personal Life
Thomas Trigg is passionate about both golf and curling – two hobbies which provide him with ample leisure time outside his professional work. Additionally, he enjoys charitable initiatives; membership at both The Country Club in Brookline and Algonquin Club of Boston make this possible.
Trigg was previously Welterweight Champion in the World Fighting Alliance. Following a string of wins, he earned an opportunity to challenge Matt Hughes for his championship title but lost via rear naked choke in round 1. Nonetheless, Trigg quickly rebounded by defeating Dennis Hallman and Renato Verissimo to secure another shot at Matt’s crown.
He was a member of both Masonic order and Chosen Friends, according to his family, but his life was marked by moderation; never seeking political office himself but was nonetheless elected county court clerk in Trigg County.
