Thomas Vannatta was born and educated at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School. He is survived by his mother, three sons and various family members.

Vannatta has achieved great academic and community service success. His project on Nipah virus led to publication in a top journal and earned him recognition at an Outstanding FAME Student ceremony at Ayers Campus. Furthermore, while studying he worked at Kronospan earning both income and valuable job experience.
He led his team to unprecedented victories against Lincoln Memorial, North Greenville, Assumption and Flagler and established himself as one of the program’s all-time leading scorers.
